I may not seems to be a patriotic person as I'm always dying to leave Singapore. I love traveling. I'm gonna earn more money in the future & save them just for traveling. Anyway, i do love Singapore. When all of us are still in primary/secondary school, we were so called "force" to memorize & learn how to sing the National Day songs. Until today, i actually go youtube to search for National day songs from 1990 onwards and sometimes i cried to our National day songs. HAHAHA! I still prefer the old national day songs. They are still the best. Let me tell you my favorite :

2) Where i belong
3) One people One nation
4) Moments of Magic
5) Home

These are the few that i always listen & sing out loud to it. Oh this year's National day song doesn't seems so bad. Love it too! Love At First Light by Olivia Ong & Natanya Tan. There are rumors going on the media announcing the death of LKY. Rubbish news & media, this people have got nothing better to do. It was such a happy moment when he appeared on the TV at National Day Parade! His appearance was greeted with all the cheers & applause from Singaporean. Our Founding Father, Founder of Singapore, the longest serving Former Prime Minister, Minister Mentor of Singapore is our hero. No matter how much you hate him ( relates to PAP ), you still got to accept this - Without him, there will not be Singapore. A man who transform a kampong fish village to one of the world richest countries. Thanks to him, we are all living in a acceptable & quality city. Go read about how he contribute and built Singapore all by himself. Be grateful for that! Also without him, you might not be able to shop at Topshop, H&M and Forever21 already. Hahaha I wish him a long life & to stay healthy forever. His smile is priceless at NDP 2012 though he looks a little weak from the inside. 


As much as i want to travel out of Singapore, I'm still thankful that I'm a Singaporean.
I'm thankful for the clean environment in Singapore, I'm thankful for all the multiracial food, I'm thankful that Singapore is safe (compare to the other countries, we are the lucky people), I'm thankful that Singapore is natural disaster free, I'm thankful for how easy you can travel from one place to another, I'm thankful that I'm born in Singapore and being able to stay at Tiong bahru. Tiong bahru is awesome !!!!!!!!!! I GET TO TO EAT AWSOME FOOD HERE. The list goes on ....... Awesome is Awesome. Tiongbahru is under Tanjong Pagar GRC & Tanjong Pagar GRC is led by Mr LKY! If it's not him anymore, who can take over this important role ? It's been him since forever. 

I know it's weird for me type such post. Thoughts only come around this timing but no inspirations? :'( I'm really suppose to do my work but really, i am still very stucked and that makes me lost the excitement to Australia tomorrow. I need to skip 3 days of school which is really important but i took Leave of Absence. I'm still worrying. Anyway, that's all for today. May i have a pleasant trip to Australia. I hope i can have lots of inspiration over there. Goodnight!
